This study investigates the application of Christian ethical principles in the use of social media. Amidst the widespread use of social media platforms, the need for a clear ethical framework has become more pressing. Using a descriptive qualitative method with a literature study approach, it can be concluded that key principles, such as integrity, truth, love, and respect for others, can guide more responsible online behavior. The results show that the application of these principles not only improves the individual online experience, but also promotes a healthier and more inclusive digital environment.
Abstrak
Penelitian ini menyelidiki aplikasi prinsip-prinsip etika Kristen dalam penggunaan media sosial. Di tengah penggunaan yang meluas dari platform media sosial, kebutuhan akan kerangka etika yang jelas semakin mendesak. Menggunkan metode kualitatif deskritif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa prinsip-prinsip utama, seperti integritas, kebenaran, kasih, dan hormat terhadap sesama, yang dapat membimbing perilaku online yang lebih bertanggung jawab. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan prinsip-prinsip ini tidak hanya meningkatkan pengalaman online secara individual, tetapi juga mempromosikan lingkungan digital yang lebih sehat dan inklusif.
