https://jurnal.sttrmk.ac.id/index.php/sttrmk/article/view/15

This study aims to investigate the concept of divine unity and Christological monotheism as articulated in Mark 12:29. Comprehending the unity of God is essential, as it underpins Christian theological frameworks. The proclamation of God's oneness articulated by Jesus in Mark 12:29 resonates with the Shema. This declaration has significant implications for elucidating Jesus' identity and mission, wherein Jesus also asserts the cohesiveness of God from a triune perspective. Furthermore, Mark employs elevated Christological terminology without diminishing the humanity of Jesus. This notion is further underscored by the doctrine of hypostatic union, which elucidates the dual nature of Christ. Jesus' affirmation of God's unity in Mark 12:29 articulates a statement concerning the uniqueness of God that aligns with Jewish monotheistic traditions. Concurrently, Mark portrays Jesus as the embodiment of God's promise, whereby God actively engages in the historical narrative of human existence. Utilizing a descriptive qualitative research methodology, the author endeavors to examine divine unity and Christological monotheism through the lens of Mark 12:29. The author concludes that this examination reinforces the doctrine of the Trinity while also affirming both the divinity and humanity of Jesus.
Didit Yuliantono AdiDaniel Pesah Purwonugroho

https://jurnal.sttrmk.ac.id/index.php/sttrmk/article/view/31

The evangelical method of theology has high urgency in responding to the challenges of the digital age characterised by relativism of truth, the crisis of biblical authority, and the changing culture of communication. Rooted in the principle of Sola Scriptura, this approach emphasises the authority of the Bible as the primary basis in shaping Christian doctrine and life. In an era influenced by postmodernism and digital technology, evangelical theology is required to remain faithful to biblical truth while developing contextualised and relevant modes of delivery. This paper examines how the method of evangelical theology can be applied through the synergy between God's Word, church tradition, and the modern context. Some of the aspects discussed include the principles of evangelical hermeneutics, the relationship between doctrine and practice, and critical dialogue with tradition and cultural context. Digital technology is seen as a strategic tool that can be used wisely for learning, proclamation, and faith formation. In addition, social media becomes a new arena in the formation of spirituality and theological discourse, despite the risk of simplification of doctrine. This method also involves understanding historical and cultural contexts to avoid distorting the meaning of biblical texts as well as facilitating deep transformation in the lives of believers.
Jeffry Frederik Jhonny PaathSamuel Kalangi

https://jurnal.sttrmk.ac.id/index.php/sttrmk/article/view/30

This study aims to explain the effect of digital media utilisation in church services on the faith growth of the congregation at GPdI Disciples Tabernacle Community Bitung. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that digital media, such as live broadcasts of worship services, spiritual content on social media, and online communication groups, have a positive impact in reaching congregants who are not physically present and strengthening their spiritual engagement. However, challenges such as limited access to technology, lack of digital literacy, and potential misuse of digital media were also found. Therefore, churches need to develop digital media strategies that are purposeful, educative, and in line with Christian values to maximise the benefits and minimise the risks in their ministries.
Fany SondakhPieterzon William Timomor

https://jurnal.sttrmk.ac.id/index.php/sttrmk/article/view/28

This article examines the application of management principles found in Exodus 18:1-27 in the context of church management in the era of Society 5.0. Using a qualitative approach and case study method, this research explores the relevance of Jethro's advice to Moses, particularly in terms of task delegation, organisational structure, and spiritual leadership, to the managerial practices of today's churches facing digital transformation. The findings show that the principles of division of responsibilities, leader qualifications, and collective decision-making are still very applicable in the modern church context. Churches that are able to integrate Biblical managerial principles with the utilisation of digital technologies, such as online communication platforms and congregational data management, experience increased efficiency and congregational participation. On the other hand, challenges such as digital literacy gaps and privacy issues become obstacles. This study offers a model of integration between theological principles and contemporary management strategies that can be used by churches to answer the challenges of the times in a relevant manner and remain grounded in the values of faith.
Franke Beni TumurangVicky Samuel Tobangen

This study aims to analyze the figure of the Christian Religious Education (PAK) teacher as a role model in the moral development of Christian students with a focus on the contribution of the professional code of ethics based on Proverbs 22:6. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were obtained from literature collection of articles related to the title under study. The study concluded the importance of the teacher's role as a teacher who not only provides knowledge but also teaches through action, reflection, and empathetic behavior, highlighting the importance of a strong teacher-student relationship in promoting moral education. The focus of a PAK teacher's role as a living example of moral development. It is not just about adhering to a code of ethics or professionalism, the code of ethics makes PAK teachers moral role models to nurture their students. In other words, this research focuses on “who teaches” rather than just “what is taught” or “how to teach”. This research indicates that the success of moral development is highly dependent on the example set by PAK teachers who are faithful to their faith vocation and supported by professionalism in their duties.
Yogi SupardiYonatan Alex Arifianto
