Children aged 13-15 years old who are in transition to adulthood face moral challenges due to the influence of digital technology. The synergy between school, church, and family is key in shaping children's character in this digital era. This article aims to explore how the collaboration of the three institutions can strengthen the character education of 13-15 year olds at Star Generation School Bitung. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods through in-depth interviews and observations with teachers, parents, children, and church leaders. The results showed that effective communication, strong trust and creativity in the use of technology are the main factors in creating a successful synergy. This collaboration proved to be able to maintain a balance between children's academic, spiritual and moral development. Therefore, the integration of Christian religious education (PAK) in schools, churches and families is essential for shaping children's strong character in the midst of rapid technological development. In conclusion, the synergy between these three institutions has a significant impact in shaping the moral and ethical character of children in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0.</em></p> <p><strong>Abstrak</strong></p> <table> <tbody> <tr> <td> <p>Revolusi Industri 4.0 telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam kehidupan, terutama di bidang pendidikan. Sinergitas antara sekolah, gereja, dan keluarga menjadi kunci dalam membentuk karakter anak pada era digital ini. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana kolaborasi ketiga institusi tersebut dapat memperkuat pendidikan karakter anak usia 13-15 tahun di Star Generation School Bitung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi terhadap guru, orang tua, anak, dan pemimpin gereja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi yang efektif, kepercayaan yang kuat, dan kreativitas dalam penggunaan teknologi adalah faktor utama dalam menciptakan sinergitas yang sukses. Kolaborasi ini terbukti mampu menjaga keseimbangan antara perkembangan akademik, spiritual, dan moral anak. Using a qualitative approach, this article discusses how teaching spiritual values, church community, and social services can support young people's emotional and moral well-being. Through analyses of biblical texts and empirical studies, this research shows that Christian education in the church provides a foundation for young people to find meaning in life and overcome the challenges of the Quarter Life Crisis.</em></p> <p><strong>Abstrak</strong></p> <p>Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi peran pendidikan Kristen di gereja dalam membantu anak muda menghadapi Quarter Life Crisis—fenomena yang ditandai kebingungan, kecemasan, dan ketidakpastian terkait identitas serta tujuan hidup di usia 20-an hingga awal 30-an. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif, artikel ini membahas bagaimana pengajaran nilai spiritual, komunitas gereja, dan pelayanan sosial dapat mendukung emosi dan moral anak muda. This paper discusses the fundamental role of biblical knowledge in shaping and mobilizing the church community in the contemporary era. With a focus on the shepherd's role as an educator and the people as learners, this research explores how a solid understanding of the Bible serves as a crucial foundation in responding to the challenges faced in the context of church ministry today. Through reviewing various relevant methods of teaching the Bible, this paper illustrates the importance of spiritual education in forming a resilient congregation ready to address the ongoing changes of the times. However, challenges remain in internalising these values, such as student behaviour that does not fully reflect the teachings of Christianity. This study aims to explore the strategy of internalising Christian values in shaping students' character in the digital era. The method used is a qualitative approach with a case study at Generasi Bintang Bitung High School. Data was collected through interviews with PAK teachers, classroom observations, and analysis of school documents. The results showed that learning strategies based on a holistic approach, the use of technology, and collaboration between teachers, students, and families have an important role in increasing the effectiveness of internalising Christian values. In conclusion, students‘ character building requires continuous efforts and synergy between school, church, and family in supporting Christian values, especially in facing the challenges of the digital era that affect students’ attitudes and behaviour.</em></p> <p><strong>Abstrak</strong></p> <p>Pendidikan karakter merupakan aspek penting dalam membentuk sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas, terutama di kalangan Siswa, Sekolah Kristen, seperti SMA Generasi Bintang Bitung, berperan dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai Kristiani melalui program-program seperti SGS Worship dan morning devotion. Meskipun demikian, tantangan tetap ada dalam menginternalisasi nilai-nilai tersebut, seperti perilaku siswa yang belum sepenuhnya mencerminkan ajaran agama Kristen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi strategi internalisasi nilai-nilai Kristen dalam membentuk karakter siswa di era digital. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus pada SMA Generasi Bintang Bitung. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan guru PAK, observasi kelas, dan analisis dokumen sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran yang berbasis pada pendekatan holistik, penggunaan teknologi, dan kolaborasi antara guru, siswa, serta keluarga memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan efektivitas internalisasi nilai-nilai Kristen. Using a qualitative approach, this study explores the views of pastors and teenagers on the role of pastoral counselling in facing moral challenges. The results show that pastoral counselling plays an important role in providing guidance and affirming the relevance of biblical teachings in the midst of social change. This article is expected to contribute to the development of the theory and practice of pastoral counselling in the church.</em></p> <p><strong>Abstrak</strong></p> <p>Penelitian ini membahas pentingnya konseling pastoral bagi remaja Kristen di era postmodern, yang ditandai oleh degradasi moral dan pergeseran nilai-nilai sosial. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi pandangan pendeta dan remaja tentang peran konseling pastoral dalam menghadapi tantangan moral. The purpose of this study is to examine how the use of interactive media can increase students' active participation in the teaching and learning process, update teaching methods, and facilitate understanding of Christian teaching materials. Using a qualitative method with a literature study approach, the conclusion of this research seeks the development of interactive media can be applied in Christian Religious Education because there will be renewal in the classroom to be able to involve active students during the teaching and learning process. Student activeness is needed in learning because the reciprocity shows that the material that the teacher shares can be accepted and criticized by students. </em><em>By using engaging technologies such as apps, videos and online learning media, students can more easily access information and interact with learning materials. Interactive media also allows for a more personalized approach, allowing each student to learn at their own pace and learning style. The novelty of this article lies in the application of modern technology in Christian Religious Education, which allows a more personalized approach and is relevant to the needs of students in the digital era, as well as making learning more effective and fun. This can be a solution to overcome the challenges of traditional and less engaging classroom teaching of religion.</em></p> <p><strong>Abstrak</strong></p> <table width="606"> <tbody> <tr> <td width="407"> <p>Pendidikan Agama Kristen memegang peranan penting dalam dunia pendidikan karena selain mengajarkan nilai-nilai moral dan spiritual, juga mengenalkan siswa pada ajaran iman yang mendalam dan memperkenalkan mereka Kristus. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji bagaimana penggunaan media interaktif dapat meningkatkan partisipasi aktif siswa dalam proses belajar mengajar, memperbarui metode pengajaran, serta mempermudah pemahaman materi ajaran Kristen. Menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan study literatur, maka kesimpulan penelitian ini mengupayakan pengembangan media interaktif dapat diterapkan dalam Pendidikan Agama Kristen karena akan terjadi pembaharuan dalam kelas untuk dapat melibatkan siswa aktif saat terjadinya proses belajar mengajar. Keaktifan siswa sangat dibutuhkan dalam pembelajaran karena adanya timbal balik tersebut menunjukkan bahwa materi yang pengajar bagikan dapat diterima dan dikritisi oleh siswa. Dengan menggunakan teknologi menarik seperti aplikasi, video, dan media pembelajaran online, siswa dapat lebih mudah mengakses informasi dan berinteraksi dengan materi pembelajaran. Media interaktif juga memungkinkan pendekatan yang lebih personal, memungkinkan setiap siswa belajar dengan kecepatan dan gaya belajar mereka sendiri. Adupun kebaharuan dari artikel ini terletak pada penerapan teknologi modern dalam Pendidikan Agama Kristen, yang memungkinkan pendekatan lebih personal dan relevan dengan kebutuhan siswa di era digital, serta menjadikan pembelajaran lebih efektif dan menyenangkan.
