This study discusses the importance of pastoral counselling for Christian adolescents in the postmodern era, which is marked by moral degradation and shifting social values. Using a qualitative approach, this study explores the views of pastors and teenagers on the role of pastoral counselling in facing moral challenges. The results show that pastoral counselling plays an important role in providing guidance and affirming the relevance of biblical teachings in the midst of social change. This article is expected to contribute to the development of the theory and practice of pastoral counselling in the church.
Abstrak
Penelitian ini membahas pentingnya konseling pastoral bagi remaja Kristen di era postmodern, yang ditandai oleh degradasi moral dan pergeseran nilai-nilai sosial. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi pandangan pendeta dan remaja tentang peran konseling pastoral dalam menghadapi tantangan moral. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konseling pastoral berperan penting dalam memberikan bimbingan dan mengukuhkan relevansi ajaran Alkitab di tengah perubahan sosial. Artikel ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi pada pengembangan teori dan praktik konseling pastoral di gereja.
