Kecerdasan Spiritual di Era Post-Truth
Membangun Kebenaran Sejati Jemaat Kristen dalam Perspektif Yohanes 8:32

Spiritual intelligence is the highest form of human intelligence. Spiritual intelligence is needed by every human, especially believers. The post-truth era brings a negative impact where what is considered truth is not absolute truth but rather what is perceived as true without verification and validation processes. The post-truth era poses its own dangers, namely the death of the public's common sense in responding to the overwhelming flow of information. Spiritual intelligence is highly necessary to protect believers from the exposure of the post-truth era. John 8:32 serves as the foundation for building and enhancing spiritual intelligence within the lives of believers because the absolute truth of God's Word brings freedom. The Church is also called to actively engage in enhancing the spiritual intelligence of Christian believers through various biblical activities. Using a descriptive qualitative method, this research will expose the importance of spiritual intelligence built on the foundation of John 8:32 for the lives of Christian believers. John 8:32 explains that when Christian believers know the true truth, it will set them free amidst this post-truth era.
Abstrak
Kecerdasan spiritual adalah kecerdasan tertinggi manusia. Kecerdasan spiritual dibutuhkan oleh setiap manusia terutama jemaat orang percaya. Era post-truth mendatangkan sebuah dampak negatif di mana hal yang menjadi kebenaran bukanlah kebenaran absolut melainkan kebenaran yang dirasa benar tanpa adanya proses verifikasi dan validasi. Era post-truth membawa bahaya tersendiri, yaitu matinya nalar umum masyarakat dalam merespon derasnya aliran informasi. Kecerdasan spiritual adalah hal yang sangat dibutuhkan untuk melindungi jemaat orang percaya dari paparan era post-truth. Yohanes 8:32 adalah dasar untuk membangun dan meningkatkan kecerdasan spiritual di dalam kehidupan jemaat karena kebenaran absolut Firman Allah-lah yang memberikan kemerdekaan. Dengan metode kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini akan mengekspos betapa pentingnya kecerdasan spiritual yang dibangun dengan fondasi Yohanes 8:32 bagi kehidupan jemaat Kristen agar jemaat dapat mengerti kebenaran sejati. Yohanes 8:32 menjelaskan tentang saat jemaat Kristen mengenal kebenaran sejati, maka kebenaran sejati tersebut akan membebaskan jemaat Kristen di tengah era post-truth ini. Gereja juga dipanggil untuk terlibat aktif meningkatkan kecerdasan spiritual jemaat Kristen dengan berbagai kegiatan yang alkitabiah. Gereja dapat menjadikan Yohanes 8:32 sebagai dasar.
